• Develop measuring methods in cooperation with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing organization and suppliers (metrological proposals regarding determination of specifications, measuring programs and descriptions, planned measuring devices etc.)
• Contact partner for project management quality and Engineering in terms of measuring topics. Early involvement in creation of specifications. Gives inputs for improvement of measuring feasibility
• Analyze measuring problems internal and external. Self-organized problem solving with external suppliers in case of measuring differences. Implementation and validation of final measures
• Compiles future demands for the laboratory in terms of measuring devices and competencies
• First contact for Measuring Technicians in terms of measuring topics. Transfers necessary knowledge to associates
• Ability to work in a two-shift model
• Proposes new measuring devices and softwares with following new technology and digital transformation
• Supports and conducts software installations and updates, creating new user names, adding new softwares on measuring devices
• Support the complaint management area by measuring of potential failure parts

• Desire to grow in your role and with the company
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable (preffered)
• First experience in Automotive industry is an advantage as well as knowledge about 3D-coordinate machines (CMM) and PolyWorks
• Good knowledge of English in business contexts (written and spoken)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good knowledge of the common MS-Office applications
• Systematic and analytical way of working, resilience, ability to work in a team, independency, proactivity
