The SPM (Software product manager) manages Client/SaaS software products throughout each stage of its lifecyle – from onboarding, vendor management, contracting & licence compliance, deployment within organization. They will be responsible for defining and implementing Docker and relevant containerization technology products within the organization. They also ensures ongoing operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in accordance with the requirements of the SaaS/Client applications.

Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for the SaaS / Client software application over the whole lifecycle (compliance, budget/cost, security, user/usage, development/further enhancement)
• Responsible for designing the implementation architecture & roadmap
• Responsible for maintenance and operation of Docker applications.
• Responsible for access management.
• Responsible for regulating the operation and ensuring the operator.
• Develop, implement, and maintain product release plan across multiple departments.
• Appraise new product ideas for DevOps platform and strategize appropriate to-market plans.
• Responsible for sharing the progress updates as per the agreements and moderate / take part in the review meetings as per the cadence.

Skills and Qualifications

• Associates with 3 to 5 years of IT & relevant DevOps (Containerization) experience
• Expertise in container technologies and container orchestration tools – Kubernates, Docker.
• Experience in configuring application and system logging.
• Experience in working with version control tools – GIT – GitHub
• Knowledge on Ansible, Terraform, deploying microservice applications using kubernates.
• Experience in a dynamic product management role including maintenance and support.
• Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
• Knowledge of IT operation processes (ITIL preferred)
• Knowledge of Information Security Incident Response Communication Plan.
• Knows general cloud computing concepts, e.g. Private Cloud, Public Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and IT Infrastructure concepts like proxy configurations, IP, domain controllers, ADFS, Identity Providers (IDP).,
