Job Description

  • Delivery of apprenticeship curriculum and content using blended methodologies to meet the requirements of specialist areas
  • Development, maintenance and delivery of any associated apprenticeship content such as employer engagement support material
  • Maintain excellent training centre standards and housekeeping
  • Plan and conduct remote and training centre delivery sessions in line with delivery calendar, including all preparatory activity and resource management
  • Drive and maintain high levels of personal performance to support and motivate apprentice development of knowledge, skills and behaviours in line with progress targets and programme quality metrics
  • Ensure that the wellbeing and safeguarding of every apprentice is considered, maintained, documented and escalated if required 
  • Accurately monitor and update Individual Learning Plans, assessment plans, block reports and other required documentation and systems
  • Facilitate conduct the delivery of Bosch gateway assessments and End Point Assessments
  • Adherence to regulatory and Bosch requirements whilst upholding the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate your own personal effectiveness against programme KPI’s such as:
    • observations of teaching and learning
    • apprentice progression
    • review and H&S compliance
    • assessment success rates
  • Take responsibility to continuously improve and meet KPI’s
  • Actively contribute during apprentice “at-risk” meetings with Programme Coordinators and colleagues to coordinate early successful interventions and address identified issues
  • Ensure all apprentice tracking and documentation (paper and electronic systems) is accurate and up to date
  • Manage individual apprentice welfare & progress for a cohort of learners
  • Maximise apprentice OTJT training opportunities with employers
  • Make prompt interventions and develop solutions with apprentices and employers where apprentice progress does not meet targets 
  • Conduct effective and timely welfare, H&S and apprentice reviews, both remotely and in the field
  • Provide information, advice, support, guidance and training required to apprentices and employers enabling the timely development of the apprentice’s knowledge skills and behaviours
  • In conjunction with the other functional teams, managers and leaders:
    • Ensure programme quality assurance meets all regulatory requirements including OFSTED inspections and ESFA funding rules
    • Maximise apprentice outcomes
    • Innovate, develop ideas & procedures to continually improve and deliver excellence
    • Develop programme documentation and training material in support of employer engagement
    • Ensure availability of centre resources
    • Conduct successful apprentice assessments including EPA’s.
    • Maintain & develop close working relationships to work towards common goals
    • Share knowledge, help others and develop best practice with all stakeholders
  • Ensure personal compliance in regard to Bosch central directives
  • Work closely with our residential accommodation partners, conduct hotel monitoring visits and attend apprentice welcome meetings
  • Through employer engagement, assist the apprentice recruitment drive in order to create and fill vacancies

Qualifications

  • Be a key team player with a positive solution-based approach and attitude
  • The ability to enforce actions within the scope of responsibility with an inclusive but assertive style
  • Possess the relevant experience and qualifications in associated vocational areas
  • Functional Skills Level 2 standard of education in English and Mathematics
  • Training and Assessor qualifications (or willing to work towards / develop their knowledge and skills)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and stretching KPI’s
  • IT literate with skills to develop and maintain documents and records in online systems
  • Ability to use multimedia technologies to effectively deliver a blended learning curriculum
  • Ability to support business development and growth
  • Ability to research and extract latest vehicle technologies to differentiate between essential and supplementary knowledge required for apprenticeship delivery
  • Ability to work with all stakeholders as directed, to develop and maintain training and quality accreditations for the business
  • Throughout the delivery of duties, reinforce the technical attributes / attractiveness of Bosch products and services where applicable and promote Bosch training solutions
  • The flexibility to travel throughout the UK is required in order to support business activities. This will entail participation in events outside of normal working hours and staying away from home.
  • Valid, clean driving license and willingness to travel to regional and customer sites.
  • Understand when to escalate issues and due diligence has failed to resolve potential issues
