Job Description

As a Electrical Development Engineer you are part of the Bosch Communication Systems department. We provide our customers with high quality products with rewarded industrial designs with high durability. Bosch Communication Systems is a specialist in product development of mechanical and electronic design for Conference and Public Address and Voice Evacuation systems. The conference products can be found in many governmental institutions and are used by world leaders. The Voice Evacuations systems must always deliver exceptional performance and reliability. The development starts with a business need and via our Product Engineering Process this leads to ideas, requirements, samples and finally to series production. The multi-disciplinary international teams work closely with our manufacturing plant in Ovar and Zhuhai to achieve a high-quality product for our customers.

The Electrical Development Engineer contributes to the electrical design of systems and products for the Communication Systems business line, based on agreed design specifications and in accordance with functional specifications, with strong focus on efficiency and reliability

 

Your contribution to something big: 

  • Under supervision of a (system) Architect or a senior Electrical development engineer, design of electronic circuits based on agreed design specifications and in accordance with the functional specifications
  • Simulation and analysis of Electrical designs (e.g. Thermal, tolerance analysis)
  • Testing of products and evaluation of the results
  • Modification of existing products
  • Contribution to the creation of all relevant Technical Product Documentation (TPD) and (test) reports
  • PCB layout and panel assembly activities, in cooperation with a PCB lay-outer
  • Perform work in line with the design processes and tools that have been agreed in the department. 

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Master / Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering supplemented with relevant training and experience in electronics
  • Knowledge of EMC and high speed design
  • > 5 years experience with Electronical design.
  • Analytical, creative and abstract thinker
  • Good communicator with social skills and positive attitude
  • Drive for efficiency
  • Accurate and quality driven

Additional Information

Hybrid regime - 2 days at the office in Ovar.
