Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Specialist Consultant - Manufacturing.  This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton and will involve occasional domestic and interstate travel.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and developing consultancy projects for external BAMS clients
  • Offering advice, preparing proposals, and delivering consultancy services in Bosch Production System and Industry 4.0
  • Conducting training/workshops in Bosch Production System processes such as Design for Manufacture and Assembly, Value Stream Design and Lean Line Design, including report writing
  • Coordinating with subject matter experts and supporting resources from within BAMS, Bosch globally, and external resources as needed
  • Collaborating closely with the BAMS Business Development team to identify and build relationships with manufacturing clients and strategic partners.
  • Collaborating with external BAMS clients and industry partners to understand manufacturing challenges and requirements.
  • Developing templates and processes for use by the consultancy team
  • Developing and maintaining consulting documentation
  • Providing general support in building the Consulting business within BAMS

Qualifications

We are looking for a conscientious professional with strong commercialization awareness and the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse topics and priorities, establish effective stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation.

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant engineering discipline
  • Knowledge or experience in applying Bosch Production Systems including Lean principles, Design for Manufacture and Assembly, and Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Basic skills in Plant Simulation and CAD creation are desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, coaching and leadership abilities, adept presentation and report writing skills.
