Job Description

  1. Supporting the Sys Pjm during acquisition and quotation process e.g identifying required Know how for the project, reviewing effort estimation.
  2. Analyzing and documenting customer and system requirements in association with the customer or the project needs
  3. Responsible for complete Sys Engg process for a customer project(s).
  4. Definition and maintenance of system layout,BOM, component matrix, system engineering documentation
  5. Responsible for analyzing changes in component matrix and its impact on project scope (Ex TKU changes in components and its impact on requirement specification)
  6. Responsible for Safety requirements engineering and management (Customer, Legal, Standards,TSR, FSR,..)
  7. Participate in safety analysis (HARA, FTA, DFA, (Sys-), FMEA)
  8. Support system verification and validation (V&V reports)
  9. Support different stakeholders on technical (Technical Project Lead) topic during the course of the project

Qualifications

  1. Masters / Bachelors in Mechanical /Automotive/Electronics/Mechatronics
  2. 2-12 years in the field of powertrain development
  3. Min 2 years of experience in Customer project Management/ Technical Lead roles for system /calibration/ SW system design/ECU PjM
  4. Experience with system release processes and release measurements  
  5. Experience in function development and validations (desired)
  6. Experience in handling the technical and legal requirements from customer projects

Additional Information

Technical Skills Required

  1. Strong fundamentals in ICE engines
  2. Experiences in system tools :INCA, ASCET/ehooks, FMEA, analyzing functions/ interfaces
  3. Experience is handling measuring instruments (ETAS devices, Engine dyno, etc..)
  4. Ability to build simulations for system topics, use of simulation tools (MATLAB, Python), incl plotting
  5. Experience using requirements Management tool like DOORS (Desirable)
  6. System Engineering certification (Desirable)

Soft Skills Required

  1. Motivated individual with very good ability to communicate and network locally and internationally
  2. Structured approached to work with the ability to quickly adopt to constantly changing project/customer requirements.

Travel

Willingness to travel within or outside India typically about 20% of work time
