Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager for Wiper Systems, you will be part of a high performing product management team and manage part of the US, Canada, and Mexico product portfolio along its complete product lifecycle and ensure its profitability. You will do this in close collaboration with global counterparts in Europe and Asia-Pacific as well as the North American Sales, Trade Marketing, and Planning functions. This is a fast-paced and agile working environment, where your skills will be visible to multiple management functions throughout the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket organization.

Job responsibilities:

  • Technical product management and sourcing strategy including coordination with Engineering and SMS Trade Marketing to define competitive, North American market relevant product features, benefits, and packaging.
  • Drive timely launch of new product programs including program release and forecasting to ensure timely delivery to customers. Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, global supply plants, and the Original Equipment functions of Bosch. This is for Independent Aftermarket programs and parts for the Aftersales Service (OES business) of our Original Equipment customers.
  • Product life cycle management by managing part numbers through ERP systems:  process driven, problem solving, and working collaboratively with supply chain, customer service, sales and marketing to retain profitability along the product life cycle.  Support management of supersessions, obsolescence, and relevant stock.
  • Work with the Original Equipment Engineering departments on application analysis and testing. This includes car show visits to analyze new applications.  Provide up-to-date cataloging information to the cataloging team as well as help maintain necessary vehicle/product database and cross-references.
  • Analyze market and customers for growth potential, explore/identify new market requirements/opportunities.
  • Conduct product trainings for new staff and sales department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-7 years of experience in a product management role, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry (Original Equipment experience or experience in similar fields will also be considered)
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and problem solver 
  • Being a team player, ability to effectively work in cross-functional teams and structures
  • Proficient knowledge Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
