Coordinating and performing engineering of solenoid actuators for directional control valves

Focus:

•  Derive requirements for the actuating magnets from the valve function.
• Create specifications and drawings based on 3D CAD and coordinate with suppliers.
• Coordinate and create test plans.
• Coordinate and, if applicable, carry out qualification tests.
• Implementation of quality assurance measures (FMEA, tolerance calculations, focus analysis...)
• Provide engineering assistance for purchasing dept.

 Competencies:

• Understanding of valve solenoid function and performance characteristics.
• Basics of electrical safety.
• FEM calculation of structural strength (understand / interpret).
• Tolerance calculations.
• Performing force-stroke measurements with a measuring machine
• Good English Communication

Advantage with

• Experience with Direction valves
• Experience on solenoid development.
• Intercultural work experience and German language.
