Job Description
- Responsible for all Direct employees related topics such as below:
- Partner with business leaders on hiring demands and needs,
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues,
- Coaching and counseling managers and employees in all areas of performance management and process (performance improvement plans, annual appraisals, career pathing, timely feedback, conflict resolution),
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances,
- Collaborate with internal and external legal advisor to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations,
- Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures,
- Union Management
- Involved with collective agreement,
- Liaised with Union work site committee and also National Union,
- Responsible for RBA – Labor system
- Ensure compliance according to RBA criteria
- Foreign workers management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 15 years work experience as an Employee Relations personal or similar role
- Have experience in Union Management
- Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in conflict resolution and mediation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Experience in employee engagement and retention strategies
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights for improvement
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving , decision-making skills and negotiation skills
