To work with all Stakeholders to effectively support the day-to-day office procedures and administration for all of the training programmes in the UK. The role takes responsibility for all Learner Support and Well-Being support, guidance and delivery. This is a critical role for the Learner Support, data input and quality assurance procedures and processes to meet all requirements of Government Funded Apprenticeship Programme provided by Robert Bosch Limited operationally.

Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of learners receiving Learner Support Funding and deliver specialist training and support to learners in line with the ESFA Funding Rules monthly as well as taking responsibility for the funding and evidence requirements submitted to the ESFA for assurance review.
  • Be responsible for the learners that hold an Education and Health Care Plan and liaise with the trainer and the local authorities to ensure compliance against the Funding Rules as well as supporting learners to achieve their goals.
  • Be responsible for the learners that have any Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements and provide the necessary support and training.
  • Be the designated Safeguarding Lead across all apprenticeship sites in the UK and liaise with the Bosch internal safeguarding stakeholders.
  • Manage reports and KPI’s for management information and review.
  • Manage and maintain staff guidance documents to support consistency and accuracy of processes along with providing training to staff on Learner Support and Wellbeing requirements.
  • Support the submission of Government funded contract data through optimal utilisation of Government Funding Portals and the Learning Management System – Maytas by data input of starts, reviews, health & safety reports, functional skills and learner support funding, achievers, early leavers, certification and in-line with Government Funding Rules and across national contracts.
  • Supporting with managing Levy and Non-Levy contracts and any requests for any additional funding evidence which may be required.
  • Manage the Robert Bosch Limited account on the government AS portal and provide on-going support to employers with using their AS account.
  • Support compliance by following process and accuracy in all work and data entry
  • Support the IQA, Training Administration and Operations teams, in the engagement and use of data.
  • Support any data or systems related activities necessary for the maintenance of Government funded contracts.
  • Supporting with client / programme requests
  • Support with organising ad-hoc events and team meetings
  • Attending any relevant team and operational meetings
  • Supporting with day-to-day requests from the operational team and any other Bosch Automotive Managers and Coordinators
  • Support any other general administration and office procedures.

Qualifications

The job holder will:

  • Possess strong organisational skills
  • Use balanced judgement and informed decision making in the delivery of his/her duties
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the automotive training business, Learner Support and government funded programmes
  • Display, at all times, a customer oriented, service provider attitude and be a positive ambassador for the company
  • Take ownership of customer queries. Think partnerships. Work collaboratively with all members of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket (MA) business.
  • Understand the goals and operating targets of the business and the way in which he/she contributes towards the success of Bosch MA within the UK
  • Engage in the process of improving our business processes by contributing ideas and suggestions
  • Communicate proactively and effectively at all levels, both externally and internally
  • Be determined, energetic and flexible
