Bosch Security Systems B.V. is a global supplier of products and systems for security, safety and communication. We are active in the fields of on-site Communication and video security, public address systems, conference systems, social alarms, and burglary- and fire alarms. Our team is responsible for integrating systems of strategic partners to Bosch communication systems.

For our department in Eindhoven, we are looking for MBO/HBO student in the field of Network, System Applications & IT or similar.

During your internship you will be working together with the engineers, project and product management, sales support, and ordering. All together consisting of dynamic international team of 6 people.

After learning how the systems and IT protocols work, your main task will be testing (create use cases, test scripts and finally execution of the scripts) of the existing IP-based interfaces between two systems.

You can think of automatic announcement systems (text to natural human speech) and public address systems at airports or you can think of critical communication and public address systems at energy platforms at sea. These are just two examples but there is much more. Next step will be to present findings, improvements, and remarks. Based upon every integration a solution paper has been created and the content needs to be checked if improvements should be made. Here you can develop and practice your own creativity and independence.

Our ideal intern shows an interest in the IT software, communication equipment and network system integrations and is able to work independently in an international environment and isn’t afraid to show initiative. Besides that, you meet the following points:

• You are studying bachelor in the field of IT - IP, (Network & System applications) Electronics Engineering or similar;
• You have experience with IP & Interfacing knowledge;
• You have experience with PC Application knowledge;
• You are fluent in English at a C1-C2 level (written & spoken), Dutch is not mandatory;
• You can start from August or September '24 and are avialable for at least 5 months.
