The Field Service Engineer (Systems) role is primarily responsible for delivering the aftermarket service provisions necessary to underpin the MA/SEU diesel business. That is, installation, repair and calibration of Bosch EPS / DCI series diesel test benches and associated ancillary test devices. The role also incorporates the installation, commissioning, and calibration of ADAS related garage equipment products.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, service and/or repair Bosch EPS/DCI diesel test benches.
  • Calibrate service and/or repair diesel ancillary test devices (e.g., stage 3, CRR120, 220, 320,
    EDC).
  • Coordinate and align the diesel test bench calibration schedule for BDC / BDS customers with MA/SGB and MA/SLC1-UK
  • Work in conjunction with the MA/SGB diesel sales team to support and facilitate diesel equipment and product sales to BDC / BDS customers.
  • Install and commission diesel test equipment as required.
  • Collaborate with MA/TSS11 hotline to provide technical assistance solutions to BDC / BDS customers.  
  • Install, commission, and calibrate as required ADAS products (e.g., DAS3000S

Specific Features

  • Coordinate as required with the appointed supplier, to ensure specialist calibration equipment is correctly maintained and performing in line with Bosch propriety diesel factory test standards.
  • Provide MA/SGB with WTE sales leads gathered direct from the service activities.
  • In order to attend to customer demands, the job holder will be required to travel frequently
    and stay away from home as dictated by call planning and health and safety considerations.
  • From time to time, the job holder will be required to travel to Bosch Denham and occasionally,
    attend training conducted at Bosch service headquarters in Germany.
  • The job holder will be required to show flexibility in emergency situations and contribute to service demands outside of the nominally specified territory.
