Job Description

  • Deploy ESG commitments into organization policies and processes to address concerns and further sustainability goals
  • Create processes for adherence to regulatory compliance, report risks related to sustainability
  • Report best practices and prepare sustainability reports to ensure compliance and governance
  • Develop internal networks to implement  practices and track key performance indicators
  • Identify gaps and adopt appropriate educational initiatives for upskilling and/or sourcing the missing capabilities
  • Explore emerging sustainability technologies, solutions and practices. Test the applicability and learn from experiments. Scale-up adoption in the broader organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Marketing, Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies or Business Administration with a focus on Sustainability
  • Master's degree in a related field would be advantageous
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Marketing or working with an NGO on sustainability, environmental management or related fields
  • High level of interest in Sustainability topics and experience in interacting with external rating agencies
  • Project management, preferably in corporate sustainability, with success in aligning business goals with ESG objectives
