About the project:
We are looking for and experienced team member in the domain of Big Data and Analytics . We need an expert to support the team in building optimized and well-planned data objects that fit to the purpose of various analytical use cases. Our sources are diverse (on-prem, cloud, structured, semi-structured, real time and batch) and our target infrastructure is  Azure cloud. Data storage relies on delta lake framework and Medallion architecture using Databricks platform. Moreover, all data assets that we design, build  and maintain we aim to describe, set data quality policies on top and make it transparent to business stakeholders through proper data catalogs.  Therefore, whole data life-cycle process needs to be supported from this role.

About the team:
As the PT Business Digital Organization (PT/BDO) we lead, support and assist our PT business partners in developing, transforming or initiating digital offerings for our customers. This includes creating a consistent brand web image, but also focusing on online sales growth. The scope of our work encompasses the spread of media buy, organization & distribution of media assets, developing digital platforms and harmonizing our IT landscape. This also includes project and program management services for major IT investments. The target is to provide the right capabilities (technology, process, skill & organization) to enable our PT business units to be more efficient, faster and more successful in the digital transformation of their product & service offerings.

Main Goals:

• As a Data Architect your objective is to enable all stakeholders to understand and communicate about data assets in order to drive the success of business initiatives. 
• As a Catalog Owner your objective is to ensure the catalog is accurate, relevant, and reliable for a range of user types. This, in turn, requires that data be easily accessible and understandable for business users and others.

Cooperation:
► You will collaborate closely with Business Units, Capability - and Product Owners to get their Analytics vision come true 

Improvement: 
► You will continuously monitor and stay up to date with available data management technologies which are useful for the data lake platform 
► You will develop and implement data provisioning based on Bosch data strategy 
► You will implement measures to ensure data quality and accessibility. E.g., definition of metrics for Data Quality which then must be monitored 

Operational:
► You will analyze and support business requests for advanced data analytics and insights generation 
► You will design data models based on analytical business use cases for reporting and AI applications 
► You will develop, maintain, and optimize data structures in a data lake platform using the Lake House Medallion architecture running on Databricks using the Delta Lake framework 
► You must develop and enforce ETL and development standards for our Data Lakehouse, e.g., domain structure or data modeling standards such as meta columns and naming conventions 
► You will act as dedicated Data Catalog owner which is a crucial solution to ensure transparency and search-ability of our data. This involves: 

• Steering stakeholder requirements towards data cataloging 
• Implementing requirements technically, currently using Microsoft Purview and Azure Databricks 
• Enabling stakeholders to document and use Microsoft Purview 
• Technical counterpart to support the business cataloging the data and models. 

Education: 
► You have relevant university degree (e.g. Computer Science, Business Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineer, Electrical Engineering) 

Years of experience:
► You have 3+ years of experience on relevant position here with hands on experience in Data Integration projects 

Expertise:
► You are at expert level in SQL Warehousing and Analytical modeling 
► You are at expert level of data mining skills using SparkSQL and PySpark on Databricks and Standard SQL on other database systems 
► You are at expert level with relational databases and understand the Delta Lake framework. You know how to perform optimizations.
