Role and Responsibilities:

• Technical development of SiC substrate suppliers (Focus: From puck to wafer)
• Alignment and implementation of substrate specification
• Technical supplier assessment
• Technology monitoring of SiC crystallization / wafering

Job Descriptions:

• Technical guidance of wafering value stream at SiC substrate supplier. Coordination of scaling-up from pre-series to mass production.
• Coordination and support of activities by local and German engineering team
• Alignment of technical requirements in close cooperation with colleagues from process development, manufacturing and quality department
• Coordination and support of activities by local and German engineering team
• Support of purchasing and quality departments at supplier audits
• Support at technical pre-evaluations of potential suppliers
• Monitoring of recent technology trends in the area of SiC substrate production (crystallization, wafering) with focus on CN
• Assessment regarding technical feasibility at suppliers

• Master or above degree in area of material science, chemistry, or physics (proven by experimental PhD work or work experience).
• Major focus SiC substrate processing or processing of ceramic materials in general
• Experience in implementation of technical processes and technologies in large production scale
• Experience in creation of specification documents
• Prefer working characters: assertiveness, Agility (enjoy shaping new value stream), independent implementation of technical goals, willingness to travel within CN, interested in new technologies.
• Native Chinese speaker, Fluency in English.
