The Vehicle Motion business serves customers worldwide as a leading supplier of holistic chassis solutions with a product portfolio of steering, braking, occupant safety systems and sensors. Vehicle Motion’s mission is to make driving safer, more dynamic, comfortable, and exciting.

With our central project PJ-VIP (Value Stream IT & Processes), we are responsible for the digital transformation of manufacturing in the Vehicle Motion business with over 25 production locations worldwide.  Our project goal is to harmonize the manufacturing IT and its processes in all Vehicle Motion plants.

One exciting task we are faced with is the migration of new software modules from a MES system called Nexeed Industrial Application System. The position Data Cleansing & Migration Expert is located in Maklár but provides service for all plants within Vehicle Motion (VM) in an international environment. Your tasks:

► Work closely with MES Application Engineers and central IT departments (BD and BCI) to ensure a seamless migration with existing systems and processes.

► Adapt the IT system during migration to the target business configuration, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

► Identify and communicate any gaps in functionality, aligning them with business process experts, and contributing to the development of requirements.

► Collaborate closely with central provider BD, BCI, plant experts, and the rollout team to ensure the successful deployment and adoption of the new Nexeed Industrial Application System (MES System) across the Vehicle Motion production plants.

► Plan and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, extraction, cleansing, validation, and loading.

► Collaborate with business process experts to define data cleansing rules and procedures.

► Develop and maintain data migration and cleansing documentation.

► Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

► Provide guidance and training to end-users on data migration and cleansing procedures.

► Continuously improve data migration and cleansing processes and tools.

► Travel and provide on-site consulting as required.

► Completed degree in engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.

► Experience in implementing and configuring MES and other IT systems, preferably in manufacturing.

► Knowledge of data migration and cleansing best practices, tools, and techniques.

► Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations during migration and cleansing activities.

► Ability to identify and address functionality gaps and requirements with stakeholders.

► Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

► Collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams for successful system deployment and adoption.

► Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to handle complex challenges in data migration and cleansing.

► Continuous improvement mindset for process efficiency and effectiveness.

► Fluent English, both written and spoken

► Detail-oriented working style to ensure data accuracy and integrity through attention to detail.
