Job Description

Main objective of the job:                                       

  • Manages projects from initiation through delivery;
  • Responsible for meeting the project requirements and managing project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
  • Implementing local projects for the location, as well as managing global projects on-demand

 

Main attributions and responsibilities:

  • Plans, implements and executes the activities required to achieve the project objectives;
  • Identifies opportunities for new projects for existing customers;
  • Elaborates documents required by the customer (implementation plans, training models, etc.) in collaboration with other departments in the company (PjM, Operations, IT, Human Resources, Purchasing);
  • Prepares regular statistical and status reports on existing projects to the appropriate board (Steering Committee, Customers, Project stakeholders/ sponsors);
  • Supports International Sales Team and locations, with sales proposals for international tenders;
  • Participates in fairs and exhibitions, where it promotes the image of the company and the services it delivers;
  • Drives the establishment of the Project Management Plan based on Project Charter, integrating lessons learned from other projects, according to SO Project Management Directive;
  • Fulfills project management plan (=attain the project targets) utilizing the specified project team and all other resources;
  • Applies all project management knowledge areas appropriately which are:
    • Integration Management;
    • Scope Management (Content, Requirements);
    • Time Management;
    • Cost Management (Project, Product;
    • Quality Management;
    • Human Resource Management (Project Team);
    • Communications Management (Reporting, Stakeholder Management);
    • Risk Management;
    • Procurement Management;
    • Stakeholder Management;
    • Benefits Management.
  • Makes decisions within approved project management plan, e.g. spending all resources (personnel, budget, etc.);
  • Escalates decision needs beyond project management plan to the review committee;
  • Controls the complete project budget over complete project duration;
  • Participates appropriately in nomination, performs evaluation, and further qualification of all project team members;
  • Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company;
  • Fulfills any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or High school Diploma;
  • Language: English (minimum B2), German- nice to have;
  • Solid knowledge of: MS Office;
  • Solid Project Management experience with mid/large Global Projects (IT projects experience preferred);
  • Customer orientation, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Experience in financial tasks related to numbers;
  • Articulate and clear communication style, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide consultation to partners and customers, while managing expectations;
  • Able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Resilience, promoting the company’s image;
  • Positive attitude, ability to constantly improve performance;
  • Responsible;
  • Quality minded and willingness to learn;
  • Very good presentation skills and excellent people management skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure.
