Job Description

Mentor, train and develop associates as Problem Solving Leaders or Sponsors following a strategic thinking and structured method to find and eliminate technical and managerial root cause.
Support Value Stream organizations as well by coaching Problem Solving Teams in order to fix critical and repetitive problems.

  • Coordinate the Project selection criteria through the Steering Committee base how Plant Indicators area affected.
  • Assure that the [projects selected have the all resources assigned (Leader, Sponsor, time, etc).
  • Coach Problem Solving technics and strategic thinking.
  • Periodical project status review with sponsors and leaders.
  • Keep and tracking Juarea plant personnel trained and certified in Problem Solving Methodologies.
  • Problem Solving Projects tracking (Status, savings, next steps, etc).
  • Projects assessment to evaluate quality and time.
  • Report cost avoidance coming from closed projects.
  • Identify and remove barriers to problem solving projects success.

Qualifications

Language: English (advanced)

  • Skills, knowledge, Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in problem solving especially in Manufacturing Area.
  • Certified as Shainin Journeyman or Master preferred.
  • Certified as Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
  • Trained in 8D methodology.
  • Logical and strategic thinking.
  • Knowledge in descriptive statistics and statistical inference.
  • Statistical software tools like Minitab, Red X Tracker, JMP, etc.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive, team work and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Leadership.
