Job Description

The Automotive Aftermarket division (MA) provides the aftermarket and repair shops worldwide with modern diagnostic and repair shop equipment and a wide range of spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. About 13,000 associates in more than 150 countries, as well as a global logistics network, ensure that spare parts reach customers quickly and on time. MA supplies testing and repair-shop technology, diagnostic software, service training, and information services. In addition, the division is responsible for the “Bosch Service” repair-shop franchise, one of the world’s largest independent chains of repair-shops.

The Karlsruhe location has been the headquarters of the Bosch Automotive Aftermarket division for over 40 years.

  • As a trainer develover, you will equipping sales professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to represent Bosch Automotive Aftermarket to our customers and to drive business success.
  • You design and deliver training programs to enhance sales skills and achieve sales targets - focusing on internal sales & marketing employees worldwide and strategic external customers of the Automotive Aftermarket.
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for development, standardized design incl. didactic processing and updating of training concepts and contents for sales-oriented product and sales excellence trainings.
  • You design and edit training material with digital tools.
  • In addition to these tasks, you will deliver seminars in different formats following a blended-learning approach (e.g. interactive live-online webinars & live streamings, self- & video-learning contents) and strategic external customers of the Automotive Aftermarket
  • You ensure a standardized, global rollout including active support of necessary language adaptations and localization. You are also the contact person for the global market.
  • Finally, you support the curricula design with comprehensive train-the-trainer activities combined with strong networking and consulting.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in business management, sales, educational science with automotive background/automotive technology or a comparable subject (e.g. master craftsman)
  • Experience and Knowledge: practical experience as a trainer and facilitator/moderator; know-how in the workshop and aftermarket fields (OES and/or especially IAM); understanding of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket product portfolio; provable sales experience is desirable; interest in digital tools (e.g. experience in storyboard & video-content generation live webcastings, using AI tools) would be an advantage; excellent knowledge in dialogue techniques, requirement analysis and value argumentation; ability to create a nexus with the practical background of the training participants and to explain sophisticated facts and issues in a comprehensible and straightforward manner; high communicative competence, self-confident manner & stage performance in front of the camera
  • Personality and Working Practice: strong analytical skills and strategic approach for independent conception and preparation of training sessions;
  • Enthusiasm: motivation and enthusiasm as a representative and brand ambassador of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket
  • Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English, further languages would be an advantage

    *In accordance with our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least EUR 84.000 EUR for a 35h week (for a full year of employment and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements based on collective agreements) in the case of a comprehensive execution of job requirements. In addition, there is an individual, performance-related pay, a bonus based on the company's success, as well as employer benefits for the Bosch pension plan.
