Job Description

Purpose /Abstract:

 

  • Drives strategic opportunities and acquisition projects in close alignment with sales managers by engaging with key business and technical contacts, understanding customers’ use cases and technology priorities, and imparting the value proposition of our solution.
  • AcM success is measured by advancement of go-to-market activities of new products, solutions, and services, and by sales achievement for specific portfolio components.

 

 

 

Specific responsibilities for Acquisition Management:
 

  • Responsible on achieving the growth targets of the region in close collaboration with the sales managers.
  • Lead the cross functional acquisition team
  • Lead acquisition specific pre-selling activities aligned with customer team and Solution Design & Technical Consulting
  • Identify acquisition specific customer trends and requirements, market activities and competitor information in close alignment with Sales Manager
  • Define, align and implement pricing strategy in close alignment with Sales Manager
  • Assure involvement and prepare proper project handover with Customer Project Manager
  • Prepare lessons learned after each acquisition, incl. won/lost analysis
  • Ensure and provide best practice exchange cross customer accounts

Qualifications

Education

  • BSc/MSc in science, engineering, or an equivalent education

 

Experience

  • Proven track record in a customer-facing position with a strong technology-related context
  • More than 3 years software development in micro-controller drivers, basic software, AUTOSAR experience preferred;
  • Experience driving new sales in complex deals using innovative approaches and utilizing internal and external networks
  • Deep understanding of customers’ use cases in the responsible solution field area and good knowledge of industry best practices and standards
  • Demonstrated outstanding operational excellence - including opportunity management and virtual team orchestration
