We are focused on development and implementation of holistic and innovative solutions in areas as mobility, buildings and Customer Interaction as well as services related to internal processes Bosch, directed especially to the Accounting departments, Human Resources, Indirect Purchasing, Marketing and Logistics.

Bosch's Human Resources Office for Europe (HRS-EU) is located in Lisbon, Portugal. It is the first international HR service at Bosch and provides administrative support in this area.

Job Description

                 LET’S MAKE BOSCH A HOME FOR PEOPLE IN A DIGITAL AGE

Our HR IT department cooperates closely with the central department located in Germany to keep HR IT systems of BOSCH running, up to date and prepared for the future. Our team is looking for an Automation Consultant & Developer to integrate major digitalization projects, joining our dynamic and multicultural Global Business Services organization in Lisbon, assuming the following responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation processes with medium to high complexity (bots, chatbots…) using major automation software tools and leveraging other tools at your disposal (e.g.: shell scripting…);
  • Functional and Technical consultancy in Automation related projects with a deep focus in analyzing and evaluating customers’ automation requirements;
  • Work with clients across all verticals to create compelling Automation Business Cases;
  • Work with business teams to simplify and improve operations by creating end-to-end automation solution designs;
  • Develop workshops with business operations and functional teams to understand automation potentials;
  • Create accurate Automation Process Definition documentations and other support material;
  • Develop, improve, and participate in testing strategies for created automations;
  • Providing continuous support and consulting to existing automations in conjunction with our support teams;
  • Reporting on key performance indicators to internal stakeholders;
  • Actively engage with our multiple stakeholders to expand technologies used in our automations (intelligent / cognitive process automation, voice enabled chatbot, etc).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, mathematics, IT or similar;
  • Knowledge of automation tools from major vendors is a plus (preferably in a working environment);
  • Proven experience in business process management, including process documentation, analysis, and optimization is a plus;
  • Good reporting skills;
  • Logical, structured, proactive approach to IT solutions;
  • Service mindset: empathy, patience, positivity to provide solutions to internal clients;
  • Global disposition, team focus and strong (intercultural) communication skills to be effective in international virtual teams;
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively with a ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Flexibility and resiliency to adapt to a growing and fast-changing work environment;
  • Detail orientation and drive to be a thorough and persistent investigator;
  • Proficiency in using MS office tools;
  • Fluent English both written and spoken (C1 level). German is a plus;
  • Availability to make short trips abroad is a must.
