Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • As a member of our VM (Vehicle Motion)-wide competence center for Infrastructure Software you are responsible for technically demanding solutions in development and customer projects.
  • Your tasks and area of responsibility include the overall implementation of control unit functions from the requirement level up to the release in a vehicle.
  • Your main technical focus will be in the area of modern bus systems, vehicle networking and diagnostics for electrical vehicles.
  • You are part of an international agile team which is located in Portugal, Germany and India.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

Education: You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering, Natural Sciences, Electronic Engineering or a related field;

Experience: You have experience in embedded SW development and basic knowledge in vehicle bus systems (LIN, CAN, Flexray and Ethernet);
First experiences in the field of embedded cyber security in terms of processes, methods and implementation in control units are beneficial;

Know how: You have knowledge of programming in C and basic knowledge of software development with C++. You have knowledge in SW design and verification.

Languages: Excellent communication skills in English;

Working Style and Methods: You are a creative team player;
Willingness to travel to the partner locations in Germany and India.
