Department: Power Tools

The Regional Portfolio Specialist with focus on Product Demand collects all critical market insights for specific trades and product segments in the region EA. This function is a key interface for the Global Portfolio Management team to understand and prioritize regional product demand.

• Gathers deep knowledge about regional product requirements for specific trades & volume segments​
• Understands user, dealer, sales & competitor insights for the respective trades & volume segments in the region and translates this into future product demand​
• Contributes to successful and efficient implementation of projects in global product management​
• Actively contributes to the business success for the respective trades & volume segments in a region
• Provides reliable volume forecasts for new products to the BU
• Close collaboration with regional UXD team to generate user & market insights
• Contributes to the global product management team with regional insights across the development process​
• Monitors the regional business situation (market shares, competitor activities, etc.)

Education: Academic degree in marketing, business or a related field

Experience & Knowledge:

• 2-5 Years experience in similar field
• Very good knowledge of respective target groups and their product portfolio​
• Proficient Marketing & Sales knowledge – ideally in Global Product Marketing​
• Deep product & user knowledge​
• Good understanding in UX & design thinking methods​
• Intercultural experience

• Strong decision-making, result orientation​ and analytical skills
