Job Description
This position is a dual role encompassing both the commercial and marketing scope for retail customers. It is as such the local cornerstone of the retail and etail strategy implementation:
- Regional channel responsibility in Eastern Europe;
- Local KAM responsibility in Poland.
This is a role with direct report Retail and Etail marketing manager EU based out of Poland.
Channel marketing responsibility:
- Responsible for the local implementation of the EU retail strategic framework: retail range portfolio introduction based on local market requirements, channel conflict mitigation, pricing consistency assessment, campaigns, and budget follow-up for local implementation.
- Support to local key accounts to understand customer needs for marketing actions.
- Know your market: update business potential by product group and by customer, support development plans and diversification (product and/or customer), monitor local retail business KPIs.
- Plan, implement and assess (ROI) marketing campaigns.
- Support for e-tail segment development: translation coordination of B2C optimized content, identification of data flow between Bosch and chains, data delivery coordination.
- Create an internal network and know all stakeholders and functions to secure efficient knee-joint between marketing and regional retail key accounts.
Key account manager responsibility:
- Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
- Create business proposals for new and existing opportunities.
- Give a rundown of the level of competition and general market activities to team management.
- Establish relationship with clients and provide high standard of customer service.
- Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business.
- Manage RfQs and steer margin.
- Competitive intelligence: Benchmark local competitor activity on 4P’s and general market approach, offer action plans and identify quick wins.
- Negotiation and implementation of commercial agreements, including contracting.
Qualifications
Profile:
- Sales/Marketing master degree and/or Engineering degree.
- Fluent in Polish and English. Third European language is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency with MS package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- High interest in data and figures.
- Experienced in e-commerce (experience with automotive products will be a plus).
- Ability and willingness to travel for customer and internal meetings in your assigned region.
- Problem-solving skills and critical thinking to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
- Flexible, autonomous, collaborative, results and future oriented.
- Experience abroad or in an international/intercultural context required (studies or professional).
- Fighting spirit, agility, positive mindset, and teamwork are key success factors.
