The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. The company develops and produces innovative solutions for security and communication systems, fire alarms, electronic displays, robotic lawn mower & E-bike components. With about 1.200 employees, its success lies in the highly specialized and innovative team and technological know-how.

The business unit “Video Systems” develops software and IT systems that are the glue in complex and distributed security installations with thousands of cameras. They make them manageable and create customer value even beyond security. • Experience in C# and C++ software development in agile.
• You have specific Knowledge in:
  • o C++, C# & .NET Core/.NET Framework, C++/CLI
  • o SW design and architecture: sound understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns (MVC, MVVM), clean architecture.
  • o Server/Client architectures and distributed systems
  • o Web services and API Integrations, SOAP, XML, Rest Services
  • o Unit testing frameworks like Google Test, NUnit, as well as experience with debugging techniques and tools Visual Studio, WinDBG, GDB
  • o Desktop application based on WinForms, WPF, Win32 API
• Further knowledge would be a plus:
  • o UX/UI Affinity, e.g. state of the Art Web Frames like Angular or React
  • o Experience in Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure)
  • o Streaming architecture, domain driven design
  • o Network protocols like IP, TCP/UDP, TLS, HTTP/HTTP2
  • o Video over IP, ONVIF, video streaming, RTSP
• Languages: Excellent spoken and written English skills are a must.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
