Job Description

The Mobility Aftermarket division (MA) provides the aftermarket and repair shops worldwide with modern diagnostic and repair shop equipment and a wide range of spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. About 16,000 associates, as well as a global logistics network, ensure that spare parts reach customers quickly and on time. MA supplies testing and repair-shop technology, diagnostic software, service training, and information services. In addition, the division is responsible for the “Bosch Car Service” repair-shop franchise, one of the world’s largest independent chains of repair-shops.

The Karlsruhe location has been the headquarters of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket division for over 40 years.

  • As a Cost Structure Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed cost analyses of our products.
  • You will support the business unit and global purchasing management in making operational and strategic purchasing decisions.
  • In cooperation with the business unit, you will identify potential cost savings and optimisation opportunities.
  • Also, you will report and present the results and prepare ad hoc analyses as required.
  • Last but not least, you will develop and maintain cost models to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in business informatics, computer science, economics or a comparable subject
  • Experience and know-how: several years of experience in cost accounting in an international environment as well as in cross-functional cooperation; ideally experience in the field of cost structure analyses
  • Personality and Working Practice:  You have a convincing appearance, are resilient and organised; you are characterised by good argumentation and communication skills at different levels of the company
  • Enthusiasm: You are open to new ideas, enjoy continuous learning and working in an intercultural team
  • Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English

*In accordance with our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least EUR 84.000 for a 35h week (for a full year of employment and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements based on collective agreements) in the case of a comprehensive execution of job requirements. In addition, there is an individual, performance-related pay, a bonus based on the company's success, as well as employer benefits for the Bosch pension plan.
