Job Description
- Follow best-practice processes and ensure process excellence as defined in Bosch Engineering System
- Design, test and implement electronic circuitry on DC powered self-leveling laser products
- Prepare BOM, conduct PCBA FMEA, document and report results
- Trouble shooting and verifying PCBA performance during pilot run production in China
- Carry out brain storming, feasibility study, reliability study, prototype testing and verification
- Design and development for improving, optimizing and/or automating calibration fixture in manufacturing
- Support cost reduction, continuous improvements and trouble- shooting of product and process
- Identify issues, problems and process gaps
- Work with colleagues in Project Management, Concept Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Documentation, Logistics
- Deal with suppliers, certification agency, engineering design consultants
- Frequent travel to manufacturing facilities in Guangdong
- Main activities are supporting series production, Improvement on production KPI and handling of pop up items in mass production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electronic Engineering in accredit institution
- At least 8 years or above relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Altium or PADS PCB layout software
- Knowledge in Electronic circuit prototyping, PCB Layout, and testing
- Good experience in agency approval process
- Good systematic and logical presentation skill
