PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.

Job Description

  • Take responsibility

You are responsible for the planning and implementation of innovative test strategies and trimming procedures for MEMS based sensors.

 

  • Get creative

You develop and optimize test concepts and programs for testing, characterization and customer samples. You contribute with your system understanding regarding component functionality, testability and product quality within the development team.

 

  • Drive innovation:

You independently create and design designs for test strategies in close cooperation with MEMS Development. You take over the technical conception, development and setup of laboratory facilities inside the fab.

 

  • Be dependable:

You coordinate module-specific measurement technology development in close cooperation with advance engineering, various development departments and production, including time schedule and cost tracking.

 

  • Delegate work packages:

You assign hardware and software development tasks to external service providers and internal colleagues. Coordinate the work-flow and take responsibility for the results.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree (Master/Phd) in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable degree
  • Minimum or more than 3 years of experience in measurement and test engineering and hardware (PCB) development in lab and/or fab environment
  • Possess, good programming skills in C/C++/C#, experience with MEMS test equipment is an advantage.
  • You are an effective team player with good ability for problem solving and analytical thinking approach. You are cooperative personality and with good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Knowledge in German is an advantage (alternative: willingness to learn the basics) is very helpful.

Special Condition

Willingness to travel occasionally. On-site training in Hungary & Germany for up to 6-9 months.
