Job Description

  • Will be the primary contact person and represent the maintenance unit in their area.
  • Continuously communicate with client departments, suppliers, and other Bosch plants regarding technical and organizational issues.
  • Monitor and control maintenance and production indicators, define improvement potentials with methodical approaches, and lead related projects to ensure production continuity.
  • Diagnose faults and define effective measures to minimize machine breakdowns.
  • Responsible for preventive and periodical maintenance activities of production machines using data analytics and AI approaches.
  • Manage maintenance budget and cost-decreasing projects.
  • Critical spare parts management for all machines under responsibility.
  • Plan technical training to enhance the skills of team members.
  • Provide technical support through a problem-solving approach to maintenance teams in response to production machine breakdowns.
  • Define and lead digitization activities to support the predictive maintenance strategy.
     

Qualifications

  • University degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • Knowledge of industrial electronics, automation, and PLC control systems, as well as electrical schematic detection
  • Basic understanding of machine elements and mechanical materials
  • Basic knowledge of Business Intelligence/Data Analytics Tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated to take responsibility for further improvement and problem-solving activities
  • Preferred qualifications include lean manufacturing experience in turning, milling, grinding, and series assembly production systems.
