Job Description

As Intercompany Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring assigned responsibilities are completed accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the monthly close calendar. Assigned responsibilities include review and analysis of intercompany activities and accruals for accuracy and reasonableness, preparation of various intercompany account reconciliations, including outgoing intercompany billings, providing intercompany accounting support to various departments and special projects as needed.:

 

  • Prepare and review accruals, journal entries   
  • Create balance sheet and income statement account analyes, bank reconcilations, intercompany reconciliations                                                        
  • Post and reconcile intercompany activity for consolidation tool                          
  • Liase with various departments and foreign affiliates on intercompany activities and settlements                                                                                            
  • Good receipt/Invoice receipt clearing accounts maintenance and reconciliation                                                                                                           
  • Prepare variance commentary for significant changes in assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts                                                                            
  • Month end close process                                                                   
  • Prepare tax packages for local, state, federal, and corporate                        

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in finance or related
  • Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office administration
  • Proficiency English, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to teach and train associates in all aspects of operations.      
  • Organization and interpersonal skills to work efficiently with various user groups
  • Professional experience from 3 to 5 years
