Job Description

Headquarters based in the North-West of Sydney with branch offices in other states around Australia, we are looking an energetic and team orientated Workshop Service Technician to join our Bosch Rexroth group in our Malaga Branch, WA.

Position Tasks

  • Ensure all HSE procedures are followed, and all incidents are reported accordingly
  • Provide Workshop Manager with an up-to-date progress report daily/weekly/monthly on all WIP in the rebuild center.
  • Provide customers with an up-to-date progress report weekly/monthly on all their WIP in the rebuild center.
  • Producing customer quotations and following up on on-going and upcoming work.
  • Deputies for the W/shop Manager in his absence as required
  • Meeting service targets and budgets.
  • Developing long-term relationships with Customers through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both Customer and company needs
  • Providing technical & other assistance to service clients
  • Preparing necessary reports for management and customers
  • Meeting regular service sales targets and coordinating service projects
  • Communicate part issues promptly as required to ensure issues are dealt with accordingly
  • Providing training and producing support material for other members of the service team
  • Liaising with other members of the Service and Parts team and other technical experts

Qualifications

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Mechanical Trade certificate
  • Able to demonstrate a high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components
  • Previous experience in hydraulic or mechanical component repair
  • Able to work unsupervised, committed and Reliable
  • High focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft office applications
  • Effective communication skills
