Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Preventive Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the security industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive maintenance activities to ensure the continued reliability and functionality of security systems at customer sites. Additionally, the Preventive Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in renewing third-party contracts, overseeing defect rectification work, leading and supporting the maintenance technical staff, and maintaining discipline within the team.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for security systems in coordination with third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate with the vendor to ensure timely and efficient execution of preventive maintenance activities.
  • Manage the renewal process of third-party maintenance contracts.
  • Work closely with vendors and service support teams to rectify maintenance defects promptly.
  • Lead and support the maintenance technical staff in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during preventive maintenance activities.
  • Provide guidance and training to the team to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Act as the discipline master for the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ensure all documentation related to preventive maintenance is accurately completed and filed.
  • Verify and submit necessary documents for billing purposes, including vendor delivery orders for payment processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Security Management) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in preventive maintenance, with 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance, preferably in the security industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with third-party vendors and internal teams.
