We, the Airbag architecture team are responsible for shaping the future system and software architecture for Airbag control units to meet the business goals and quality standards, including functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434). We are part of the development team for the Airbag platform, a highly configurable base used by more than 50 customers, and our mission is to save lives. The team has an open position as Software Architect.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • You are responsible for creating the next generation of Airbag Software Architecture;
  • You define the Software Architecture based on requirements using a model based software engineering approach (MBSWE - SysML/Rhapsody);
  • You ensure the validation of the Software Architecture;
  • You are responsible to deploy the Software Architecture across different development teams;
  • You support software developers in technical questions regarding the implementation of the Software  Architecture;
  • You work in an international team with locations in Europe, India, China, Japan, and USA;
  • You define and optimize the software development process, methods and tools;
  • You collaborate with other Software Architects inside Bosch to achieve synergies.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • You have a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics;
  • You have a background in software engineering, preferably in embedded systems, including requirements engineering, architecture design, Model-Based Software Engineering (MBSWE);
  • Your style of working is structured, with a strong ability to find the right level of abstraction;
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills in English and have a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Most importantly, you are motivated to improve by continuous learning.
