Within our organization we develop power electronics for the e-mobility solutions of Bosch. With the help of Si, SiC, GaN semiconductor technologies our power modules enable the Bosch inverters/converters to be efficient and reliable. In our team you can directly contribute to a greener future with the increased power and fun of e-mobility.

Your contribution to something big:

► Responsible for product reliability/robustness with help of the consequent implementation of DFRe method/mindset.

► Defining product use cases and life cycles, with consideration to loads and requirements for power semiconductors modules, inverters and converters based on MOSFET, IGBT or SiC technology.

► Contributing to product design processes within a multidisciplinary team.

► Discussing product reliability and validation relevant topics with internal and external customers.

► Defining validation tests according to standards, customer specifications, aging laws, etc.

► Supporting root cause analysis, risk estimation and corrective measure implementation in case of test failures.

► Strong cooperation with the internal FEM simulation team (optionally perform FEM simulations).

► Strong cooperation with field of data science, big data, AI.

► Participation in foundation and launch of a new reliability group responsible for power modules for E-mobility.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you?

► MSc in physics, mechanical engineering or comparable

► 3 years experience in reliability engineering or 5 years general experience in automotive industry

► Strong analytical skills, with structured and precise working style

► Strong desire for continuous learning

► Experience with DFRE is beneficial

► Good communication and presentation skills

► Fluent English communication and presentation skills, German is beneficial

► Self-motivated

► Team player
