Robert Bosch Energy and Body Systems Kft. was established in summer 2003. It makes automotive components and electric drives, and currently has a workforce of 2500.

The automotive parts made in Miskolc are supplied to major carmakers. The plant is constantly adding new products to its portfolio, which includes all kinds of electric motors and air-conditioning equipment. Its new-generation products, such as the brake assistance motor and the electronic stability controller, are essential parts of hybrid and electric vehicles.

A major non-automotive product is the eBike drive, a highly advanced and intelligent electrically driven assistance system. Besides making the eBike motor, the Miskolc plant packages the whole eBike system, including the drive unit, display, battery, cables and everything else needed for the electric drive. From Miskolc, eBike systems are dispatched to every part of the world.
