Job Description

You and your team are responsible for ECRs (Engineering Change Requests) and NP (New Projects). You will be the first escalation level for issues related to the implementation of ECRs and new projects in the logistics planning area.
You will develop a structure and define a strategy to optimally manage 500+ engineering changes per year. You will be in charge of the implementation process of the technical changes. You will coordinate the material planning as well as the production planning of the service departments with the customers, respecting the different logistic processes as well as the Bosch standards under the premise of low logistic costs.
You will also be responsible for the efficient management of the logistics operations processes of planning and production scheduling  to ensure a successful launch of new projects/production platforms in the logistic area.

 

Detailed Description:

• Develop and implement a schedule plan for each Engineering Change, which will be the basis for building and organizing logistics resources in the implementation of Engineering Changes

• Coordinate interdisciplinary groups (Material Planners, Customer Planners and Client Administrators) to meet the deadlines and activities of the implementation of the Engineering Change

• Confirm that the Engineering Change is implemented and works effectively in SAP. Timely conclude the activities regulated by logistics and keep the business units of the plant informed about the results. Calculate and report the result of the logistics cost invested for the implementation of the change.

• Coordinate within the Logistics group the necessary activities for a successful launch of a new project (including time plan and risk assesment)

• Develop and manage a time plan for each project being the spokesperson for the planning area for new releases inside and outside the department.

Identify early the key points within the logistics planning area for the success of the project, identifying barriers and escalating in a precise and timely manner to guarantee a low logistics cost.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree - Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, etc.

Desired Master's Degree

Language:

  • English- Advanced level

Experience in procurement planning, supplier change management or in a similar role

> 5 years

 

Technical Skills:

  • ERP (SAP) - Intermediate
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Power BI) - Advanced
  • Automation tools (ej. Catalytic) - Basic
