Job Description

You are responsible for a team of procurement planners being in direct contact with the supplier, technical and commercial areas as well as with the internal planning teams.

You develop and follow the procurement plan based on customer demand.

You analyse the supplier delivery behaviour in alignment with the commercial areas of the Business Units, ensuring the internal Bosch delivery standards and regulations.

You are the first level of escalation together with your Group Leader in close collaboration with the planning area.

You act in line with inventory and expedite strategy of the plant.

 

Detailed Description:

• Manage together with your direct team, critical material in close collaboration with commercial areas

• Ensure a 21-month demand forecast, in line with the Customer Planning Teams taking into consideration the customer's EDI, Sales forecast, and historical data

• Analyse deviations and work out measures and solution between requirements and actual supplier deliveries

• Responsible to ensure the tracking of shipments from the suppliers until arrival to final destination (plant)

• Delegate coordination tasks of EOP to reduce obsolete risk in RM

• Ensure effectively and timely information to your direct Group Leader / internal direct higher management and commercial and technical areas (Purchasing, Quality and Engineering) in case of crises and critical situations

• Provide explanations, proposals and reliable data to support inventory control decisions and avoidance of expedites within defined internal communication channels

• Identify areas of opportunity to improve business profitability and develop the corresponding measures

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree - Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, etc.

Desired Master's Degree

Language:

  • English- Advanced level

Experience in procurement and/or planning activities or a similar function

> 5 years

Technical Skills:

  • ERP (SAP) - Intermediate
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Power BI) - Advanced
  • Automation tools (ej. Catalytic) - Basic
  • Working Knowledge of in logistics and manufacturing - Advanced
  •  Analytical understanding of processes
