Job Description

This position will work in all phases of the molding production floor from startup of molds, troubleshooting, set up of molds, and assist in monitoring quality.

Qualifications

-Able to  work on all shifts.

-Plans sequences of operations, visualizing shape of die or mold in reverse of product.

-Understanding of Tool assembly and SPC/gauge functionality.

-Perform troubleshooting to help meet production requirements. Identifying deviations and/or
  opportunities for improvements and effectively communicates and initiates
  corrective action.

-Data collection and reaction to non-standard molding practices as a result of tooling, press, or material
  issues.

-Perform daily tasks to ensure parts quality, part quantity, plant safety, and utilize proper document
  action and tracking methods.

-"Zone" ownership/responsibility # SPC Part dimensions, Equipment, Housekeeping,
  Scrap, and Downtime.

-Process verification/evaluation as well as understanding of RJG Monitoring Equipment.

-Effectively communicates with other  shifts as well as documenting
  and sending shift reports.

-Clean Tool Faces and Change Date Wheels.

-Process Troubleshooting by Effectively Reading Charts and Graphs for Process Interpretation.

- Mold Changes.

-Verify Job Setups.

-Process Startup and Shutdown.

-Involvement in different departmental and plant project teams. 

-Assure completion of dimensional re-verification following mold modification and repair. 

-Removal of stuck parts from molds.

-Respond to machine alarms.

-Modify 6-Axis Robot Positions.

-Copy and Rename Robot Files as Needed.

-Works and Communicates with Team Leader /Group Leader and Quality to support Quality and Production
  Requirements.
