The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest has been established in 2005. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2700 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. The division Automotive Steering (AS-ER) develop innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance. Through the combination of systems based on ultrasonic sensors, electric power steering and active or passive safety systems we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow.

Your contribution to something big

►Understanding customer expectations and needs in order to provide the right solution

►Ensuring that the Hardware Projects follow the Hardware process descriptions and work work products

►Preparing of Quality Assurrance Plan with the support of the Hardware Project Team

►Participating in project meetings (kick-off, project review, CCB, PCB etc.)

►Quality support in tailoring and adopting standard processes (during preparing Configuration Management Plan)

►Supporting external audits and Assessments of Hardware projects regarding ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 26262 and Automotive-Spice

    and Customer

►Supporting the implementation of new processes and methods related to Hardware projects

►Continous improving the processes and methods through analysis of the actually performed processes in Hardware projects

►Planning, organizing and performing process compliance and Configuration Management Plan reviews (internal, external, cross-check

    etc.)

►Monitoring, evaluating Hardware project related quality metrics (KPI, goals, findings etc.)

►Reporting Project Quality Status to Management (Quality, Line Department etc.)

►Supporting Level and QG Approvals of Hardware projects

What distinguishes you

►BSc/MSc in mechatronics or electrical/mechanical engineering

►Advantage is Bsc/Msc degree in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable

►ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 26262 - 5 and  Hardware Automative – Spice experience is an asset

►English advanced (German skills are an advantage)

►Excellent in communications and ability to work in a team environment

►Advantage is experience with the following: knowledge of product engineering process, engineering tools and quality processes (e.g. FMEA, DRBFM, 8D, IS – IS NOT, 5S, Internal Audits (VDA 6.3, IATF 16949 etc.))

►Initiative, creativity, persuasion and assertiveness

►Self-motivated and responsible way of working

►Availability for training in Germany for several months
