• You get a broad as well as a deep overview of middleware, protocol stacks that are used / applicable to various domains such as automotive, industry, agriculture.
• You gather an overview of existing solutions.
• You create landscape pictures summarizing the research and making the primary use case as well as specialities transparent.
• You define criterias for comparison and evaluation.
• You evaluate the middlewares with the help of the previously defined criterias.
• You make a suggestion which solution would be a good fit in which scenario.

• Personality & work style: Team player with good communication and visualization skills, structured and solution-oriented working method combined with high quality awareness and independence
• Experience & know how: Basic knowledge in the area of embedded Linux and C++ software development, middleware and Ethernet-based protocols such as Websocket or MQTT
• Education: Students of Computer Science or a comparable field of study
• Languages: Very good German or English skills

Start: immediately / by arrangement
Duration: 3 - 6 months

Prerequisite for the internship or student employment is enrolment at a german university.
