Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

This position offers the opportunity to be part of the Central Manufacturing Technology Department which works for the whole Home Comfort Division with plants all over the world. You will be part of an experienced, motivated and cross-functional team that takes very seriously the continuous improvement of collaborators. With certified training, mentorship and the implementation in real life projects, the team (and the candidate) can contribute to the following areas:

  • Support on manufacturing technology department standardization (Process guidelines, general documentation, lessons learnt, Manufacturing technologies overview);
  • Support manufacturing team (multinational) on the development of manufacturing process portfolio;
  • Exchange information/methods with other business units;
  • Follow up team process development projects;
  • Develop and research new/existing manufacturing technologies:
    • Benchmarking technologies state of the art;
    • Evaluate new process technologies for new products;
    • Manufacturing feasibility analysis;
    • Investigate automation potential improvements in existing processes.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

  • Academic profile in Mechanical/Industrial Management Engineering or similar;
  • Willingness to learn;
  • Results oriented and proactive attitude;
  • Willingness to work in a cross-site project team environment;
  • Interested in industrial environments;
  • Willingness to think out of the box; as well as curiosity about new technological trends;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team;
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluent communication in English.
