Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

As a Purchasing Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to on-time, on-quality and on-budget introduction of new technical parts for the Residential Heat Pump Business platform of Bosch Thermotechnology, in close collaboration with development activities and strategic internal partners.
The main responsibility lies in supporting the Technical Purchasing team located in Aveiro in establishing close cooperation between the in-house available knowledge and the solutions our external suppliers can bring, into competitive targets with a high quality standard: all in the scope of Time-To-Market projects (sellable products).

Here are some of the areas where you will be able to actively support the team:

  • Preparation, participation and actively follow technical discussions with suppliers;
  • Advanced Quality Planning support for purchased parts;
  • Total Cost of Ownership evaluation;
  • Samples planning, ordering and follow up;
  • Support introduction of new parts and ordering for projects in South, Middle and Nordic Europe markets;
  • Market Investigations and Request for Quotations.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Academic Degree in Business Management, Economics or Engineering (preferable, in Industrial Management, Mechanical or Materials areas);
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint);
  • Structured and Analytical way of working, results-oriented mindset and proactive attitude;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Good writing and speaking skills in English and Portuguese.
