Job Description

Your contribution to something big

Responsible for salary payment to all associates in Malaysia Bosch Group and ensuring compliance with all statutory authorities. Job scopes include: 

  • Responsible for monthly payroll and statutory processing function, ensure all processes are executed appropriately, accurately and in timely manner according to internal policies, procedures and work instructions
  • Ensures that payroll is prepared according to internal processes and payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely
  • Responsible for compliance with EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax and other requirement by local authorities
  • Responsible to preparation of off-cycle and keep self up-to-date with latest regulation which impact process as well as system maintenance
  • Responsible for processing travel claims reimbursement
  • Responsible to drive the review and preparation of data necessary for the filing of payroll-related tax returns and miscellaneous withholding forms, ensures generation of year-end reports.
  • Serves as an internal and external resource on payroll related inquiries
  • Leads continuous improvement projects and initiatives; supports the development and maintenance of payroll process documentation
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls on payroll systems and compliance with tax and other payroll related legislation
  • Ensures the payroll and statutory payment are on-time to the authorities
  • Ensure accurate posting interface between HR Core to FI system
  • Overtime payment checking and monitoring into payroll records
  • Prepare payroll schedule
  • Generate monthly/quarterly/yearly scheduled report as defined
  • In charge of the payroll and payroll related matters for all associates
  • Responsible to perform 4 eyes checking for all payroll related matters
  • A contact person for internal / external audit related to payroll matters
  • Continuous improvement in the area of responsibilities




What distinguishes you

  • Degree in Business / Human Resources related Degree or its equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years hands on experience in End-to-End payroll process (inclusive of monthly reporting to management and Government bodies)
  • Experience and knowledge in using SAP is a must
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Good technical payroll knowledge ( administration of benefits or statutory handling), analytical skills and attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to multi task and manage time and deadline effectively is essential 
  • Experience in a shared services environment is an added advantage
  • Team oriented, accountable and self-motivated
