Job Description

In this role, you will contribute to the mission of delivering ingenious cloud services at scale. Whether building on the Remote Portal platform, working with our technical infrastructure team or highly advanced web-based applications for our key vertical customers and prospects, you help driving product development and act as part of cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next phase of dynamic cloud services. You apply and further develop your expertise in this innovative engineering field to generate excitement by designing functions and interfaces, user paths and views together with the user-experience team and product responsible of the solution offerings.

Responsibilities

  • (Service L2) customer contact for incident resolution and request fulfilment
  • Working with external and internal customers to analyze, understand, and document the customer and field complaints, issues and requirements.
  • Reproducing issues and finding root causes together with the technical experts.
  • Driving the issues along the ticket workflow until resolution and closure with customer
  • Continuously assessing improvement potential for process, methods and products
  • Ensuring consistency and quality of documentation

Qualifications

  • Personality: You enjoy the daily flexibility and challenge of customers facing issues with our provided solutions – and helping them. You are creative and willing to work in an international, agile team.
  • Working Practice: Ensuring availability and quality of our digital services as key of customer orientation and satisfaction is your core motivation. While being creative and agile in assessing the customers issue, you also make sure the relevant information is documented and stored in a way to be used as feedback for the CIP of our services.
  • Education: You have a diploma or bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. Additional qualifications with focus on customer tech support methodology are advantageous.
  • Experience and knowledge: You bring along a high level of proficiency in web based applications, services and technologies. You have already gained experience for more than 3 years in software development with relevant work experience on complex, web-based software products and services, ideally in security environment.

You have experience working in the development context of cloud applications,
SaaS, emerging cloud use-cases for web/mobile and enterprise. You know how to work with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SCRUM, Continuous Delivery, Ember, Git, Java, Javascript, Junit, REST, Spring, Wildfly, HTML, MySQL, Splunk, Sahi, Tomcat, Ansible and other state-of-the-art web technologies.

  • Languages: Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are a prerequisite.
