PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Description

Job Overview

  • To ensure the capacity (machines/equipment) for series production to perform the trimming and final test of inertial sensors and ASIC's in a timely manner.
  • To ensure proper personnel capacity in the production lines.
  • To ensure that the required tools for the production line are available on time.

 

What you’ll do

  • Interface to lead plant RtP1/MFC-SCO
  • Calculation of required equipment and personnel capacity based on available work plans.
  • Scheduling of improvement projects
  • Conducting capacity discussions with AE-SCO and site management/value stream management
  • Providing data for investment calculations
  • Ordering of tools
  • Ordering of series follow-up tools (boards, tester cards, workpiece carriers)"
  • Compliance with legal requirements
  • Compliance with the RB guidelines for planning
  • Regular data reconciliation of capacities related to business plan, customer demands and commitments

Qualifications

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of project planning working experience in the semiconductor industry environment
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work in a team
  • Communicate well with all levels within the company
  • Able to perform economic analysis
  • Possess Business, commercial and technical skills or Lean Manufacturing Concept (BPS)
  • Able to perform commercial discussion together with equipment supplier and engineering
  • Able to instruct shopfloor
  • Have a clear set of logical standards, systematically follow them
  • Able to determine cost saving and quality improvement potential in his area
  • Focus on company vision and mission
  • Open for business trip and able to travel to China and Germany for training
