Job Description

We are on the mission to turn latest technology into outstanding Bosch products and services. We are developing the perception of the next generation of automatic parking systems. We are driving the development of the computer vision, ultrasonic sensor perception and creating the necessary SW to turn the sensor raw information into a vector space representation. In our team, we are focusing on the necessary open- and closed-loop simulation infrastructure and the related visualization framework to enable the data driven development.

  • You will enhance and craft existing 2d- and 3d-visualization solutions that are deployed on a measurement PC for “online” in-vehicle development usage and as a web app for “offline” development use cases in the cloud. This framework is part of a toolchain that is the crucial foundation for the development, validation and virtual testing of our large scale distributed parking systems.
  • As software engineer, you will be responsible to steer the activities in the visualization framework development with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will shape the future of automatic parking systems and establish best practices the various visualization use cases.
  • You will enable function developers to make use of your framework for development purposes and work with DataOps and MLOps engineers to integrate it into the respective pipelines.

  • Education: Successfully completed Master's degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline
  • Personality and Working Practice: Motivating attitude, profound communication, strong interpersonal skills, structured and analytical
  • Experience and Knowledge: Very strong programming skills in C++ and Python with at least 2-3 years hands on experience; extensive Qt 5 experience; experience with 3d visualizations; Web app development experience; strong Linux skills with experience around the Linux system administration; build-system and Compiler knowledge (ideally CMake and Visual Studio C++, clang, GCC); experience with unit-, integration- and smoke-testing; preferred - experience with workflow automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible;
  • Languages: very good knowledge of English, German knowledge is a plus
