Job Description

  • Support Product line strategy:
  1. Support definition of product program (set-up, adjust, or cancel) according to market needs
  2. Implement short & long term product strategy to achieve sustainable growth, considering purchase barriers
  3. Ensure profitability through cost management and positioning (Rotten apples, VitAA)
  • Sourcing strategy / landscape:
  1. Define and implement in cooperation with the respective departments and regions the suppliers landscape strategy
  2. Ensure profitability by cost management with third parties
  • Market and technical benchmarking:
  1. Evaluate market needs with the region's Product Specialists
  2. Continuous observation of the market and competitor situation, in strong cooperation with Business Development
  3. Evaluate and propose consequences to Mkt management on product or concept strategies by applying suitable tools, e.g. competitor benchmarking, trend analysis, cross checks of results with own strategies, results of market research
  4. Market analyses of the Bosch relevant areas in the Automotive Aftermarket
  5. Coordinate and perform Technical benchmarking as a support for product strategy definition
  6. Implement product roadmaps strategy based on market and technical benchmarking
  • Cross-functional coordination: Need based
  1. Such as packaging, logistics, data management, PLCM, Audit...
  2. Support in daily follow up and reporting of business key figures (coverage, turnover)


  • Bachelor (or equivalent) or higher degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar
  • 5+ years experience in Automotive Industry Aftermarket and Braking/commercial business preferred
  • Good technical & commercial/marketing knowledge and skills for Braking/commercial products
  • Result-orientated, self-driven, can work with high workload.
  • Market knowledge or previous working expirience with: China, Australia, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia
  • Entrepreneur mindset with creative thinking out of the box
  • English (fluent in speaking and writing), further language beneficial (especially Chinese, German)
  • Mainly domestics travelling but eventually also oversees (Asia)
  • Open minded and able to adapt quickly to international environment
