The division Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics, driver assistance and automated driving. Through the combination of systems based on cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors, electric power steering and active or passive safety systems we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today, but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow.
The business unit Driver Experience (XC-DX) contributes to the XC vision of quality, agility and safety by shaping the future of driver assistance on our journey towards automated & accident-free driving and parking. We are approaching this vision by developing and offering innovative driver assistance systems, components and functions in close cooperation with our customers – nearly all OEMs worldwide.
As a Software Engineer at XC-DX you develop software to realize driver assistance systems for vehicles, which will be part of the traffic in the future worldwide.
Our team develops Situation Interpretation components for SAE Level 3 customer project of Highway pilot, providing solutions for lane estimation, corridor generation, intention prediction, object-lane association and further problem areas based on video, map and radar sensor data.
Your contribution to something big:
► You will be a part of one of the current biggest Bosch ADAS project targeting state-of-the-art highway pilot development in a multinational, global environment.
► You will develop new algorithms within the Situation Interpretation problem space.
► As a Software Engineer you will follow the automotive software engineering process: Requirements engineering and management, Architecture and Design, Implementation in C++ (using GIT), continuous problem solving (including the analysis of measurements), Verification and Validation (continuous reviews and tests on all development levels) and documentation
►You will bring novel solutions from prototype to series maturity in terms of performance and quality. You will bring your software to the road!
► Your solutions will be a significant part of the state-of-the-art in terms of functional performance of L3 systems.

► Working Practice: pragmatic problem-solving, result-oriented, can-do attitude and taking ownership of assignments
► Multiple years of ADAS experiences
► Multiple years of programming experience with C++
► Knowledge about development tools: GIT, G-Test
► Education: bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or similar
► Language: working proficiency in English
