Job Description

  • You drive and support the technology management of our MEMS sensors for consumer applications, defining and updating our technology roadmap on various technologies (ASIC, MEMS, packaging, testing, software) together with our management and in discussion with our experts. The focus is on environmental sensors (pressure sensors, gas sensors).
  • In order to shape our roadmap, you analyze and assess use cases for MEMS sensors and derive requirements for future technologies. You then identify gaps in technology and solve this by triggering and steering pre-development projects.
  • You understand the market and our competition, analyzing competitor information (products, patents, publications) and further developing our technology and IP strategy. Furthermore, you strengthen our IP portfolio by securing IP generation in relevant areas.

Qualifications

  • Personality: High level of interdisciplinary comprehension, customer orientation, creative drive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Working Practice: Very good decision-making abilities and positive team player with cross-cultural competence.
  • Experience and Knowledge: 3 - 5 years industry experience in the development of MEMS sensors or sensor ASICs, preferably with a PhD focused on MEMS. Significant experience and interest in filing patents and analyzing IP.
  • Education: Master degree or equivalent in Microsystems Engineering, Microelectronics, Electronics or similar major.
  • Languages: Fluent English, German as a plus.
