Job Description

Join ramping up Bosch High Voltage electronics development at the exciting time of electrification of the automotive industry!

We are developing High Voltage electronics for electrical and fuel cell vehicles in the market segments of Electrification, passenger cars and commercial vehicles. We are preferred worldwide partner for innovative solutions and dynamically contribute to the change in mobility. Doing so, we help our customers to significantly reduce their costs, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

As a System Test Team Leader, You would be responsible for a 48V & High Voltage Electronic System Test team. Your responsibility area would cover products from the electrification portfolio, such as the Electrical Air Compressor (EAC), which is one of the main component of the fuel cell vehicle and 48V Drive. Your responsibility would include technical lead and coordination of 4-6 Engineers including the respective high voltage laboratory as well. You would be involved both in a new product development from the beginning and also into series support activities.

 

Your contribution to something big:

► Technical lead of an Engineering team (4-6 engineers) in the field of 48V Drive and High-Voltage Electronics System Testing

► Organization, follow-up and priorization of weekly tasks of the team members

► Planning system test activities for the project according to project timing aligned with project leader and test manager

► Main contact / interface regarding development activities towards management, partners and stakeholders

► Contribution for competence management and capacity build-up

► Supporting associates in technical activities, regular review of related workpackages

► Contribution for recruitment activities and capacity build up

► Contribution to strategical discussions

► Responsible for High Voltage test laboratories

► Cooperation with different domains across the globe (System Engineers, Software Engineers, Project Leaders,…)

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

► B.Sc or M.Sc degree in electrical engineering

► Experience in the field of leadership, people management

► Very good communication and problem solving skills

► Very good organization skills

► Experience in the field of automotive engineering

► Experience in the field of system testing or similar

► Experience in automotive HIL systems (e.g. dSpace)

► You have hands-on experience with laboratory / measurement equipments (e.g. power supplies, oscilloscope, digital multimeter,…)

► Experience with High Voltage Electronics is an advantage

► You are a self-starter with excellent risk management skills

► You have very good english skills (German is an advantage)

► You are willing to accept responsibility
